When Australia’s first dedicated cardiac hospital opened its doors, the arrival experience had to support a very different kind of journey.

The Victorian Heart Hospital in Clayton began welcoming patients on 23 February 2023, bringing specialist cardiac care, research and education together in a purpose-built hospital delivered by Monash Health in partnership with Monash University.

Ace Parking supports the hospital’s car park operations under contract with Monash University. For patients, families, clinicians and visitors, parking is one of the first and last operational touchpoints of the hospital experience, making clear access, reliable support and a straightforward arrival particularly important.

The hospital is Australia’s first dedicated cardiac hospital. At launch, Monash Health said the facility had capacity for up to 206 beds and was designed to support tens of thousands of cardiac emergency assessments and procedures each year.

Ace’s role at the Victorian Heart Hospital adds to our experience across complex healthcare environments, where parking needs to work around the priorities of the wider health precinct rather than as a standalone facility.
