Supporting FightMND and the Big Freeze since 2016
Ace Parking has proudly supported FightMND’s Big Freeze as an organisation since 2016, making it one of our longest-running community initiatives.
In 2026, our team once again came together to support the Big Freeze, wearing the campaign’s beanies and helping keep awareness of Motor Neurone Disease and FightMND’s work visible. This year’s campaign also carried special significance as Australians reflected on the legacy of Neale Daniher AO and the movement he helped build.
For Ace Parking, the value of this support is in consistency as much as participation. Our involvement over more than a decade reflects a sustained commitment to a cause our team has continued to stand behind year after year.
Our support for Hands Across the Water
Ace Parking has supported Hands Across the Water, an Australian-founded charity that works with children and communities in Thailand.
Established following the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, Hands Across the Water has developed long-term programs focused on care, education, security and future pathways for children. The organisation continues to support children in Thailand through sustainable programs and community-based initiatives.
Past community initiatives
Over the years, Ace Parking has supported a range of charities, community events and fundraising campaigns. The initiatives below form part of that history.
Jane Goodall Institute Australia
Ace Parking previously supported the Jane Goodall Institute of Australia’s They’re Calling on You mobile phone recycling initiative. The program encouraged the reuse and recycling of mobile phones to reduce electronic waste and help support primate conservation.
Starlight Children’s Foundation
Ace Parking has supported Starlight Children’s Foundation, whose programs help bring fun, connection and positive experiences to seriously ill children, teenagers and their families.
RSPCA Million Paws Walk
Ace Parking supported the RSPCA Million Paws Walk over a number of years, joining the community to help raise awareness and funds for animal welfare. The national Million Paws Walk concluded in 2025 after 30 years of events across Australia.
Supporting cancer fundraising
Ace Parking has also supported community fundraising for cancer research and care, including the Car Show to Fight Cancer benefiting the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and support for a customer taking part in the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
These initiatives included contributing parking proceeds, helping collect donations and supporting participants undertaking fundraising challenges.
